Love Islanders have a tendency to switch up their looks completely after leaving the villa, but one star who has remained looking pretty much the same is Lucie Donlan. Well, that was the case until this week.
Now, in a move away from her signature crimped and mermaid-like waves, the 23 year old has just cut in a wispy new side fringe – and it’s making us want to go for the chop too. Lucie has only teased the updated look on her Instagram grid, but gives viewers a closer peek in a series of Instagram stories from brunch with a fashion brand. The star tags in her hairstylist James Johnson, who also does the hair of Love Islanders like Demi Jones, Liberty Poole and Georgia Steel.
Sadly James hasn’t given us any further details on how he created the fringe look on Lucie, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for styling tips. It seems fringes are the must-have beauty accessory for 2022, with plenty of celebs opting to cut in wispy or block fringes these past few weeks.
Fellow Islander Millie Court showed us exactly how a side fringe should be done in a series of new 70s-inspired snaps.Taking to Instagram to give her 1.9 million followers a look at the new style, Millie looks like a retro dream with the layered and flicked-out hairstyle. Dancing on Ice’s Liberty also joined the fringe brigade only this week, debuting her freshly-cut mid-length style and fringe.
Fans have been likening the star to a 90s Pamela Anderson, who famously wore this style of wispy blonde fringe and layered tresses.
