Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu announced as third Dancing On Ice 2023 contestant

Three months ago Love Island fans waved goodbye to show host Laura Whitmore for the final time as she gracefully bowed out of hosting the hit ITV2 dating show. In the weeks that followed, many fans couldn’t resist speculating about who might take over the reins of the show, with several names ranging from this year’s winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, through to former Strictly star AJ Odudu and even The Inbetweeners favourite Emily Atack.

Siva Kaneswaran appeared tearful after he was asked to speak about his late bandmate Tom Parker after it was revealed he would be taking part in next year's Dancing On Ice. The Wanted singer’s participation in the ice skating TV competition was announced during Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (October 11).

As the news was revealed live on Good Morning Britain on 11 October, Siva, 33, couldn't help but share how his late bandmate Tom Parker inspired him.Tom was just 33 when he tragically passed away in March, following an 18-month battle with brain cancer. He left behind his heartbroken wife Kelsey, and their two children, daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, one.

The final contestant for ITV's Dancing on Ice line-up has been revealed as The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran. Appearing live this morning on Good Morning Britain, Siva quipped that he asked his manager if it was too late to pull out, but went on to say that he was "overall excited". Siva, 33, added that he's that much of a newcomer to the ice that he's been using the training penguins – typically used by children.

The next contestant for ITV Dancing on Ice has been revealed as Michelle Heaton. Appearing live on Lorraine this morning, Michelle, 43, told the host: "I've always wanted to do it and had my name in the mix. But I knew I would never have been able to complete anything because of the way my body was 18 months ago." She added: "I'm truly grateful I've got it this year and I'm a lot stronger.

The actress, who has also appeared in Holby City and in the West End, will join RuPaul's Drag Race UK 2019 winner The Vivienne, EastEnders' Patsy Palmer, John Fashanu, comedian Darren Harriott, Corrie's Mollie Gallagher, Olympic Gymnast Nile Wilson and Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Strictly Come Dancing star Matt Goss is said to be a "completely different person", following his worrying stint in the dreaded dance-off last weekend.
