Love Island star Luca's family slams trolls for calling him 'controlling' amid Gemma drama

Love Island star Luca Bish’s family have snapped back at trolls who have called the contestant “controlling” following the drama between him and his partner on the show Gemma Owen. On Monday night’s episode, Gemma, 19, got heated in the villa after her comments about “not being far off” from Dami Hope ’s mind-reading that she could possibly have her head turned spread among the Islanders.
Luca, 23, let his feelings for the dressage champion be known once again after the tense moment as he asked Gemma whether or not she feels the same way about him. The fishmonger’s attachment to Gemma has led commenters to describe him as “controlling”, which Luca’s family made clear they don't agree with as they spoke out about their unhappy feelings about the remarks online in support of the star.
Posting a shot of Luca smiling in the villa, the family wrote on his Instagram: “Could not be more proud of our boy if we tried.
