Love Island's Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda sparked split fears just days after the show final, after Max was spotted attending the Big Weekend launch party in London on Wednesday, but Olivia was nowhere to be seen. Instead, 27 year old Liv posted a video as she watched a football match in Brighton, after going home to see family following the celebrity-packed Love Island finale party in London on Monday.
But things are far from over between Olivia and Max, 23, as she exclusively told OK! that the couple have "absolutely not" split, but that she had just gone home for a "bit of normality" with her family after the Love Island whirlwind. She revealed that she has spent "pretty much the majority" of her time with Maxwell after they were dumped from the Love Island villa at the beginning of the month.
And despite the couple missing out on the 'Meet the Parents' episode, which airs on Love Island days before the final, Olivia has met Maxwell's dad and sister, as she said: "I felt like I'd known them for ages". She also revealed that Maxwell has met her brother and his partner but is yet to meet her parents, but said "it's soon gonna happen".
Olivia told us that she "definitely" sees her relationship with Max going the distance but that it's still early days. Max is soon set to surprise Olivia on their first "official date" outside of the villa, which she said she's looking forward to.
The couple were dumped from the villa in scenes aired on March 1, after a public vote deemed them to be the least compatible couple.
