Luca Bish has admitted he is ready to declare his love to Gemma Owen after the steamy heart rate challenge on Love Island. On Tuesday night, the Islanders had to give each other lap dances to try and raise their partners heart rates and for some it left emotions bubbling right to the surface too. All of the girls and guys got a bit hot under the collar after the raunchy display, but Luca got tongue tied enough that he began to wonder if he was in love with Gemma.The 19 year old danced for all the men in a black leotard and black stockings with a frilly ultra mini tutu and a whip.
Luca, 23, was absolutely mesmerised by his partner as she crawled on top of him before she started kissing him. After her saucy display at the fire pit, Gemma revealed her competitive side and told the camera: “If Luca’s heart rate wasn’t raised the most by me I’ll be fuming. As much as it is a game, I’ll be fuming.” However, Luca was so flustered after the solo dance that he went so far as mentioned the ‘l’ word.
“Listen, you know when there’s moments when they say that’s when you realised that you love someone…” he gushed. “I thought it… I could have just had that! F**king hell.” Later on the programme it was revealed that Gemma had in fact raised Luca’s heart rate the most out of all of the girls, which wasn’t surprising after his declaration of love. Despite the on-screen fun, not everyone was happy about the sensual display, as Michael Owen took to Twitter to comment on his daughter’s dance.
