But although the bust-ups and make-ups are unrehearsed, nothing is left to chance and producers film secret “dress rehearsals” before each series starts. A group of young singletons, who are main villa rejects often hoping to get bumped up to the actual show, are flown out to Majorca to spend time in the villa, testing out every element, from camera angles to drinking games.This all happens before the real cast have even landed on Spanish shores.
