Love Island's Jessica Shears has hit back at "gross men" after she posted a picture of herself breastfeeding her newborn baby. Jess, 29, welcomed her second child – another baby boy – in June, with her husband Dom Lever, 31, who she met on Love Island in 2017. The couple are already parents to a two and a half year old son, whose name has not been revealed, nor has the moniker of their newest son, although Jess posts plenty of snaps of them both on Instagram.
On Wednesday 13 July, Jess posted a candid snap on the stairs in her house as she breastfed her newborn, with the caption: "Getting ready now takes 1000000x longer". Whilst the snap garnered plenty of positive comments, such as one from former Geordie Shore star, Vicky Pattinson, which said: "You are amazing", it seems it also got some more unfavourable attention. Jess took to her Instagram stories to post another snap of herself breastfeeding with a confused face as she wrote: "Why must gross men comment inappropriate things on images of women breast feeding.
"It's actually disgusting. It's such a beautiful incredible thing that women's bodies can do and you should be able to post about it without getting gross sleazy comments. Eurghhhhhhh".
She then posted another breastfeeding snap as she put a thumbs up to the camera and wrote: "Cue the dms saying you shouldn't post about it if you don't want people to comment", with an upside down smiley face. Jess and Dom both announced the news of their newest arrival on Instagram in June, with Dom sharing a collection of gorgeous family snaps to Instagram. The proud father-of-two penned: "Baby we did it AGAIN!!" followed with a heart emoji.
