Love Island's Jazmine gives update after scary sepsis battle and details daily hospital visits

Love Island star Jazmine Nichol has penned an update to fans about her sepsis battle which saw her rushed to the hospital last week. Jazmine, 21, underwent emergency surgery after she contracted sepsis and was left feeling “really unwell”, mere weeks after being dumped from the villa.The reality star, who appeared as a Casa bombshell on Love Island this year, spoke about her scary health experience as she took part in a Q&A on Instagram Stories. Jazmine mentioned before that she had been “vomiting uncontrollably” amid the illness and has since said she is “lucky to be alive”.
The star is now healing as she continues “daily hospital visits” following her sepsis diagnosis. Jazmine opened up about her life-threatening sepsis battle to followers, writing: "Physically I'm healing but I have to have daily hospital appointments - unsure how long this will be for but I know I'm in good hands. "Mentally it's a lot to comprehend having your life flash before your eyes at 21.
But I have the best support system and people who check in on me every day. "I'm starting to do business meetings and getting back into a routine. Very grateful to be given this second chance at life." The Newcastle native was seen publicly for the first time after being admitted to hospital as she was spotted making her way to a photoshoot in Manchester this week.
After going quiet on social media at the time of her medical emergency, Jazmine informed fans: “Update for you all. "I've taken really unwell so I'll be off my phone and not shooting any content for a while till I've recovered from surgery. I'm in good hands though."
