Gemma, the daughter of former Liverpool, Manchester United and England footballer Michael, posted a touching clip on her Instagram of her walking through the door of the plush family abode to be met by her beloved pet dogs and horse.

While runners-up Gemma Owen and Luca Bish received 14.47% of votes, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope had 11.77% of the votes and Tasha and Andrew had 10.07%.

It has been revealed that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti generated more half of the votes to take home the title of Love Island 2022 winners. According to ITV, the pair received 63.69% of the public vote, while Gemma Owen and Luca Bish - who came in second - had only 14.47%. Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope came in third place, and had 11.77% of the vote, as Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page were fourth with 10.07%.The news of the voting figures comes after ITV announced that a whopping 3.4 million people tuned in to watch the finale last night, Monday 1 August.

Davide Sanclimenti became a fan favourite during his eight-week stint in the Love Island villa, with his and Ekin-Su Culculoglu's romance capturing viewers' hearts. The 27 year old, who hails from Italy, took home the £50,000 prize fund with Ekin-Su, also 27, after they beat Luca Bish and Gemma Owen and were crowned the winners of Love Island 2022.
