This Morning after he was pictured hopping into the back of a taxi in London with two blonde bombshells while his girlfriend, Ekin-Su was away in LA. Davide, 27, who won the hit ITV2 programme with girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 28, was put on the spot as he joined Holly Willoughby and Phil for a chat as the This Morning duo returned to their hosting duties on Monday morning. After Davide and Ekin-Su gushed about their relationship for the first few minutes of the interview, things soon turned awkward when Phillip delivered a savage dig towards Davide after he was spotted leaving a club with two gorgeous Icelandic women last week.
The Italian hunk had headed to the KSI boxing match at the O2 Arena before he was seen leaving with the two girls while Ekin-Su was working on her Oh Polly collaboration in LA. Phil didn't beat around the bush when quizzing Davide on what went down in the taxi during his appearance on This Morning. But the Love Island winner insisted that both he and Ekin-Su laughed off the headlines and rumours once they got wind of the drama.
"You know what, I laughed it off actually," Davide insisted. While Ekin admitted that at first, she was rather taken aback as friends, family, and fans bombarded her with messages and screenshots of the mysterious snaps. But Ekin's mind was out to rest once she called Davide from LA.
Her Italian beau reassured her that there was nothing sinister behind the photos, and that he had simply jumped in the cab with the girls, while his other friends were in a different taxi ahead of them.
