And after leaving the villa with her now-boyfriend Adam Collard, Paige, 24, was questioned about her "chemistry" with Dami, 26, while on Love Island's AfterSun, to which she told Laura Whitmore that she loves the star "as a friend".
Now, Dami, who came third on the show with girlfriend Indiyah Polack, and Paige sat down to address the rumours together, revealing they both "friend-zoned" each other in the beginning of the show's series. "Was there ever vibe or was it always just friends?" presenter Harriet Rose asked Paige and Dami in a new video on heatworld's Under the Duvet.
"Oh, come on," Paige began to share. "It's always been friends, hasn't it?" before Dami added: "Yeah, I friend-zoned her in the beginning." But Paige wanted to set the record straight, as she said: "No, you didn't.

"Obviously, in the beginning, you try to get to know everyone, we're just able to talk to each other about anything." Dami went on to say: "I told her about my girl problems, she told me about her guy problems, it was nice to have that." Harriet then asked Indiyah, 23, Andrew Le Page, 27, and 26 year old Adam: "Do you guys also have friendships with the opposite sex from the villa?" Indiyah - who was close with islanders Danica Taylor and Tasha Ghouri - then piped up and said she didn't have a guy "best friend" in the villa as she is "more of a girls' girl".
