Love Island 's Coco Lodge asked for some "nasty" comments made in her argument with Summer Botwe to be removed from the Love Island: The Reunion show. Former friends Coco, 27, and Summer, 22, came to blows on the show, which was filmed on Thursday 4 August and aired on Sunday 7 August, with the pair exchanging catty comments over Summer implying Coco had wanted to sleep with Josh Le Grove, who Summer had grown close to.
One of the show's hosts, comedian Darren Harriott had to diffuse the situation, but now Coco has revealed on a Facebook Live with The Mirror that the row went on a lot longer than what viewers saw, after she asked producers to "cut" some of it out of the show. It all kicked off after Darren Harriott had asked Summer, Billy, Josh and Coco if there had been any dalliances between the former Islanders since they left the villa, and Summer said of Coco and Josh: “I know someone who wishes they would have got with someone, but we move…” As the audience in the studio responded, Coco could be seen shaking her head as she commented: "It’s all B******t.” She then told Summer: “Oh it’s only banter.
If you can’t handle a big personality don’t go on reality TV.” Summer then quickly jabbed back: “Friends don’t say certain things, but alright.” As Coco continued to shrug it off, Summer decided to escalate things further as she ominously added: "If you wanna talk about you, we can..." Following the show airing on Sunday night, Coco confirmed that the argument had been edited as she tweeted: "Of course they edited it, we move thooo". Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "I think all that was cut out was a bit of back and fourth, where I was like: 'I don't really wanna talk about this, it's embarrassing it's school girl
