Love Island's Chloe Burrows on key to relationship with Toby Aromolaran

As summer draws to a close, another series of Love Island has been and gone. Arguably, this has been the most explosive yet – complete with the bombshell return of Adam Collard, two teary walkouts and even accusations of bullying. But 2021 runner-up Chloe Burrows says she “thoroughly enjoyed” the “chaos” that the latest bunch of sexy singletons provided for viewers.
“The producers absolutely smashed it,” the 26-year-old tells us as we catch up following Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and David Sanclimenti’s win. “It’s been such good TV. It’s been a bit light on the love but that’s not really why I watch.
I watch it for the chaos so I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.” Although she only met her boyfriend Toby Aromolaran, 23, on the hit ITV2 dating show a year ago, Chloe admits her time in the villa already feels like a distant memory. “Love Island seems like it didn’t happen,” she tells OK!. “It’s weird to think that’s been a whole year of my life, it’s crazy.” Here, Chloe tells us the secret to her relationship with Toby and gives her advice for other Islanders… Hi, Chloe.
Does it feel like it’s been 12 months since you were on Love Island? No, Toby and I were saying this the other day – it’s so weird that it’s been a whole year. Love Island seems like it didn’t happen.There were times when I was staying at his mum’s, he was staying at my granddad’s, that feel like it was only the other week. I feel like, because we’re constantly busy, we don’t really know what day it is so it’s weird to be thinking that’s been a whole year of my life, it’s crazy.
