Love Island's most dramatic story twist, when the male Islanders are whisked away to neighbouring villa Casa Amor, is said to be returning in a huge way. According to reports, a source has claimed that the week which sees the boys going away to mingle with new girls will be "better and bigger than ever".
In the past, Casa Amor has torn the most established couples apart, and caused all manor of shocking fall-outs on the show, which has reportedly seen a second Islander pull out before even getting to enter the villa. In particular Amber Gill, who went on to win the show in 2019, was dumped by firefighter Michael Griffiths in some of the most dramatic scenes ever to grace the hugely-popular series.
Last year, Welsh islander Liam Reardon danced dangerously close to the line as he flirted with newcomer Lillie Haynes, while Millie Court was waiting for him back at the original villa. While Liam came back single and ready to reunite with Millie, who was over the moon at the time, presenter Laura Whitmore encouraged Lillie to spill the beans on why she looked so unhappy, prompting her to reveal the truth about her and Liam's flirtatious week together. The explosive scenes threatened to destroy Millie and Liam for good, but they gradually came back together stronger than before, and went on to win the series.Time will tell which couples are at stake in this year's Casa Amor, but a source told The Sun how producers are gearing up to "throw a spanner in the works".
“Casa Amor is back and it is better and bigger than ever," they told the publication. “Producers will wait until everyone starts to get a little too comfortable before they throw a spanner in the works.
