Love Island's Amy Hart has just given birth to her first child, a baby boy, with boyfriend Sam Rason. Congratulations! The Love Island star, 30, and Sam, 33, announced their exciting news on social media on Tuesday (7th March). “We are so, so in love,” she wrote on Instagram.
Amy, who starred on season five of Love Island, gave birth on Friday (3rd March) after spending a lengthy four days in labour. She wrote: “Well… four days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were Braxton hicks… they weren’t), four very short hours in the delivery suite and five long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy. ”A post shared by Amy Hart (@amyhartxo)Amy hasn’t revealed her son’s name yet, but she teased that “proper introductions” would come soon and thanked those who already sent their well wishes.
“We really appreciated it over the last few days,” she wrote. On her Instagram story, she added: “We would have announced sooner but wanted to wait until we were all 100% well and home from hospital. ”In their post, Amy and Sam shared a series of adorable photos with their newborn and she said she can’t wait to show his “beautiful, non-post-birth swollen face.
” Wait, he can get even more adorable?Before giving birth, Amy opened up about deciding to freeze her eggs and planning to have a baby alone IVF, but after meeting boyfriend Sam, she was able to conceive naturally. During her pregnancy, she also opened up about getting an abnormal result in a cervical screening which was then monitored by a consultant throughout her pregnancy. Amy is not the only star from season five of Love Island to become a mother, as Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury welcomed their daughter, Bambi, on 23rd January.
