Hi again everyone! It’s Shaughna Phillips – and wow, a lot has changed in the space of a week. We’ve seen people leaving, and then more Islanders arriving.Things move so quickly in the Love Island villa, and I’m loving it. Bombshells Jay Younger and Remi Lambert have certainly shaken things up.
I really like them both. I think Remi seems very chilled, he’s not putting it on as thick as Jay is. During Jay's date with Amber Beckford, he told her she had the highest emotional intelligence in the villa.
I thought it was a weird line to come out with. How can he say that to someone he doesn’t know? I think he thought it was what she wanted to hear. It doesn’t seem like any of the Islanders are a solid couple, and I think Jay and Remi could definitely ruffle a few feathers.
I would say that Amber and Dami Hope are probably the strongest in there, but I don’t see the physical attraction between them. When I think of my series, I compare them to the likes of Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, and Molly Smith and Callum Jones, who were all very tactile with each other. That’s something that comes naturally.
I don’t see that with Amber and Dami. I think they both could potentially be biding their time, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Although it’s a dating show, let’s all be real, there’s a money prize at the end! So if you have to bide your time until someone else comes in, then that’s what you’ve got to do.
I must admit I’m loving Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page together. I like Tasha. I think she’s a good egg.
