Sceptical Love Island viewers were left suspicious that former Islanders Paige Thorne and Dami Hope have been growing too close since exiting the Spanish villa. A clip of them at Tasha Ghouri's birthday looking cosy sparked comments from fans, accusing them of being "too close." Paige, 24, and Dami, 26 were never an item in the Love Island villa but their strong platonic bond was plain to see as they grew to be very close friends over many weeks of chatting on the sun loungers.

Dressage rider Gemma Owen had fans in tears as she shared a heart-warming video of the moment she returned home after two months in the Love Island villa. Gemma, the daughter of former Liverpool, Manchester United and England footballer Michael, posted a touching clip on her Instagram of her walking through the door of the plush family abode to be met by her beloved pet dogs and horse.

Love Island winners Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti enjoyed some special treatment on their flight back to the UK. According to ITV, the pair received 63.69% of the public vote, while Gemma Owen and Luca Bish - who came in second - had only 14.47%.
