Love Island viewers spotted a blunder with one of the couple’s names on a text on Sunday evening. Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope coupled up on Friday night’s recoupling after previously sharing their first kiss during a game of truth or dare .
It comes after their original partners, Ikenna Ekwonna and Amber Beckford were brutally dumped from the ITV2 villa last week. During Sunday's episode, Dami and Indiyah settled down to chat on the sofas as Indiyah received a text, which read: "Dami and Indiyah, it’s time for you to go on your first date.
Please get ready to leave the villa #chemistryfordays #damiyah." Get exclusive celebrity stories and reality tv news straight to your inbox with OK! daily newsletter. However, fans weren't happy about the chosen name for the loved-up couple as they argued that the couple name should be "Indami" instead as it's what fans have been using on social media.
On Twitter, one fan posted in confusion “I thought we agreed on Indami” as another echoed: “No way they said damiyah, what about indami?” A third corrected the show: “It’s not damiyah it’s indami get it right.” Another surprised viewer commented: “Everyone calling Indiyah and Dami damiyah like we haven’t all agreed on indami #LoveIsland.” During their date, Indiyah said: "I feel like we’ve had a crazy journey but I feel like it’s meant to happen." She added: "People have come and gone in the villa but we’ve both been here the whole time so it’s like, sometimes it’s right in front of you." Dami then asked: "Where’s your head at, do you feel like it could be turned easily?" To which Indiyah replied: "You know what, I’m gonna be honest - at this moment, no. Obviously it’s early days but I’m not even focusing on that right now.
