Laura Whitmore suffered a makeup mishap on Sunday 26 June as she ended up with brightly coloured lipstick across her teeth as she presented Love Island: Aftersun. Laura, 37, was chatting about this week’s drama that unfolded on Love Island – including seeing Indiyah and Dami finally pursue a romantic relationship, much to the shock of dumped Islander Amber – but was blissfully unaware of her lipstick malfunction. Viewers were quick to point out that the mum-of-one had more lippy on her teeth than her lips, and questioned why no one rushed to tell her.
One person tweeted: “OMG. WHY HASNT ANYONE TOLD LAURA WHITMORE HER TEETH IS COVERED IN RED LIPSTICK”. Another person penned: “omg whys no1 telling laura whitmore shes got pure pink lipstick in her teeth”.
“Ain’t no way production has let Laura whitmore talk on aftersun with lipstick on her teeth,” added someone else, as a fourth continued: “Why did Laura Whitmore not have someone in her earpiece telling her about all that lipstick on her teeth”. Dozens of other viewers also begged for someone to tell Laura about the lipstick blunder. Laura’s evening hosting Aftersun comes after the 37 year old enjoyed a fun-filled weekend at Glastonbury with friends as part of her belated hen do celebrations.
Laura and Iain Sterling married in a secret ceremony which they announced at the beginning of 2021 but, due to the pandemic, the pair weren’t able to celebrate the way they wanted to. Now, 18 months after tying the knot, Laura enjoyed her long-awaited hen do as Glastonbury returned for the first time in three years. With acts including Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar, Laura jetted off to the festival in true style as she boarded a helicopter alongside some of her close pals.
