It's a Sin star Olly Alexander addressed the rumours he could be the next Time Lord to step into the Tardis during a chat with Lorraine Kelly.
The Years and Years singer appeared on Lorraines ITV show on Tuesday morning and unfortunately dashed the hopes of all fans confirming he is "definitely not" the next Doctor.
The 31-year-old has been a frontrunner to play the time lord in the BBC show Doctor Who after captivating audiences in It's A Sin last year, but he hasn't ruled out a cameo in the show.
Many names have been thrown into the ring since it was announced Jodie Whittaker would be stepping down from the role, with Olly being at the front of the line.
Lorraine told Olly what many people were thinking, that he would be 'crazy' for not pursuing more acting opportunities after the success of the Channel 4 show.
Lorraine said: "You've got to do more acting!"
"I know you are very focused on the album and your new music, of course."
Talking about her love of It's a Sin and how well it was received, she wondered if he would be exploring his acting career more.
"But you are in this incredible position where you have been in one of the most successful and most enjoyed and most talked-about dramas; it would be crazy not to do more. " she continued.
Smiling, Olly replied: "Thank you, I'd love to. I definitely will at some point.
"I just don't know what it will be. I would love to play like a sexy witch with special powers."
The award-winning show about the aids crisis in the 1980s was created and written by Russell T Davies, who just so happens to be back on the set of Doctor Who as the showrunner, a position he has held before.
The Scottish TV host quickly asked if Olly would be appearing in the BBC time-travelling show.
