Lorraine Kelly took to social media to praise a #SaveHumanity Spock vaccination advert in Los Angeles to encourage people to get jabbed.
The ITV star re-shared a photo of the ad from William Shatner as she told her Twitter followers how she loved the message.
The 61-year-old breakfast presenter penned to her followers 675,500 followers: "I LOVE this and obviously Spock would have told us all to get vaxxed for the good of “the many”."
Star Trek actor William Shatner originally shared the ad writing: "Have you seen the #LeonardNimoy#SaveHumanity Covid Vaccination billboards? I understand they are in NY, Boston, Chicago & Washington DC! If you spot one of them; take a photo! Here’s one in LA on Hillcrest. @JulieNimoy "
Many fans of the series took to the replies to praise the advert as it backs the Star Trek characters logic.
One fan replied: "I met an anti-vaxxer recently who said he wasn't getting vaccinated as he felt he would survive covid. I told him to be like Spock and vaccinate to protect others as "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one" He couldn't argue with Spock's logic."
"Because we all want to live long and prosper," said another.
Another fan replied: "Mr. Nimoy would be honored. I am happy to see that Mr. Spock is still a figure used to observe science and respect intelligence."
Lorraine shared the image to her 462,000 Instagram followers as well, writing: "LISTEN to Spock. He knows."
Fans were happy to see Lorraine back the ad campaign and the message behind it.
One commented: "Well done, Lorriane. Thank you."
"Love him. Live Long & Prosper. Get the Covid vaccines," wrote another.
Someone else said: "Live long and prosper...only with the vaccine...you tell Mr Spock."
