The duchess was seen moments later in a car crying.  Low writes that the palace had to assure Scotland Yard that Meghan had proper protection while on the trip through the South Pacific after reports came out about her being rushed from the marketplace.  The author noted it wasn’t clear why Meghan wouldn’t want to be associated with UN Women and her lawyers have denied that claim.  "This is completely false,"

The Prince Harry and Meghan Markle drama continued into the weekend as it wasn’t clear if the Sussexes would be attending a pre-funeral reception at Buckingham Palace on the eve of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who settled in California after stepping down as senior royals in 2020 – reportedly initially received an invitation to the Sunday evening reception, but conflicting reports said they were and weren’t expected to attend.  According to the Telegraph, they have now been uninvited because palace officials insisted that the reception hosted by King Charles III and Camilla, the queen consort, is only for working royals, which Harry and Meghan are not. This is to ensure the maximum coverage of the many significant events in the royal calendar since the death of the monarch, aged 96, on Thursday, 8 September.Today, Good Morning Britain aired as usual from 6am to 9am, followed by Lorraine at 9am.This Morning also aired at its usual time of 10am but will finish at an earlier time of 12pm to make way for an extended ITV News Special which will cover The King’s Tour - Northern Ireland - meaning Loose Women's usual slot at 12.30pm will not go ahead.The lunchtime news will then take place at 1.30pm with live coverage of Queen Elizabeth II - Return To The Palace scheduled for 4pm.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on the 8 of September, plans have been put in place in the days leading up to her funeral as King Charles and his Queen Consort, Camilla step into their new royal roles.
