Kieran Sadlier has ambitions to reach the Republic of Ireland senior set-up and is hoping hard work at Bolton Wanderers will help to fulfill that long term aim.
Sadlier joined Wanderers in the January transfer window from Rotherham United. He put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The former West Ham United youth product scored four goals in 18 appearances for Wanderers in the second half of the campaign. He filled a variety of roles for the Whites in that time, lining up across the attack and also as a wing-back.

Born in Sussex and coming through the youth team ranks at West Ham United, Sadlier has represented the Republic of Ireland at international level. He has represented the country at under-15, under-17, under-19 and under-21 level.
Sadlier aimed to reach the senior squad after moving to Rotherham in 2020, but his move to the Millers did not work out and is one he has candidly admitted in the past was not the right one for his career. But now he is featuring regularly at Wanderers, he is hoping he can force his way into the senior picture for the Republic of Ireland, having been in provisional squads previously.
He said: "I played from Under-15s all the way up to Under-21s and when I was at Doncaster, I was in four of the provisional squads. I never travelled but I was in those squads when I had a good season.
"The aim was to play regularly in the Championship with Rotherham and break into the senior squad. But I didn’t play enough due to injury and stuff, so I just kind of decided that club football is the main aim. Get in the team and do as well as you can
