Major shake-up at Primark as it opens self-service system but fears on how to exit store

Primark as the company is introducing a self-service system at its stores - but there are concerns at how shoppers get out of the shops.Budget shoppers are about to see big changes at the fashion store, as the project is set to be rolled out across further branches. The retailer has been trialling self-service check-outs, similar to the types seen in supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury's, at certain branches - but now the scheme is set to be rolled out at even more stores.READ MORE: Woman tries full face of Primark makeup and result leaves people 'running to shop'At first the scheme was tested out at Primark's Sheffield and Northampton stores, but now the system is being expanded to try and help customers cut time if they don't want to wait in lengthy queues. The next phase of the trial will see three more stores try out the self-service system.According to the Mirror the reaction to the idea so far has been "positive."A spokesperson for the retailer said: "Earlier this year we launched a trial of self-service checkouts in our Sheffield and Northampton stores. "The response so far has been really positive, especially from customers who are short on time or making smaller purchases."We’re rolling the trial out to our West Bromwich, Kingston and Coventry stores in the coming weeks to help us understand further the benefits that self-service checkouts bring."The tills have already been installed in the stores, and have also got people talking on social media.TikTok user @samirahhxoxo posted a video of the tills, and said it all looked "bougee."In other words, it looks quite fancy.

A quarter of Brits have digestive issues like constipation - but won't get it checked out

A quarter of Brits (25%) have digestive issues such as constipation which cause them discomfort – but have simply “learned to live with it” rather than getting it checked out.A poll of 2,000 adults found nearly one in five (18%) don’t consider the frequency of their bowel movements to be “normal”.And nearly a quarter (24%) aren’t sure what to look out for when it comes to checking the health of their number-twos.In fact, more than one in ten (13%) haven’t had a digestive symptom treated or diagnosed, because they don’t feel they understand enough about their digestive system and how it works. And 17% fear doctors won’t take them seriously if they try and make an appointment to discuss their digestive symptoms. The research was commissioned by Fybogel, prior to the launch of its “touring toilet Cubicle Confessional” – which gives members of the public the opportunity to talk to a gut health expert, in a bid to help them talk more confidently about their bowel habits. The Cubicle Confessional will visit three UK cities with some of the highest rates for hospital admission for constipation – London, Northampton and Liverpool – with expertise provided by charity Guts UK.Marguerite de Durfort, from Fybogel, said: “We know, for so many, the embarrassment that comes with “the poo chat” can limit our understanding of our digestive system, and stop us receiving the treatment we might need.“We want to help people in the UK who are suffering in silence, and work towards breaking the “poo taboo”.“With 55% of the public feeling most comfortable talking about their bowel movements with a doctor, we hope people across our three locations can utilise our cubicle confessional to gain professional advice for their gut health symptoms.“We
