In 1979 Peter Falk and the late great Alan Arkin made the perfect odd couple in the classic action comedy, The In-Laws. The 58th annual edition of the show will be seen on Amazon Prime Video exclusively for the second consecutive year. The ACM Awards left broadcast television behind last year after having aired on CBS from 1998 through 2021, and on ABC and NBC through the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with (Brooks) throughout the years,” Parton said in a statement, “I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together.” Parton additionally said that she will be premiering the debut single from her upcoming “rock” album on the show, fulfilling a vow she made to produce a genre-specific record when she was elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
