Maryna has participated in the IRC’s Step to Work project for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, attending workshops on navigating the Polish job market and meeting with a career advisor who encouraged her to achieve her professional goals. With the support of the IRC, Maryna has been motivated to pursue her dream of becoming a tram driver.

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic With Taylor Swift already having announced international legs of her Eras Tour that will keep her busy for most of 2024, it would have seemed like she was long done adding any extra dates to the U.S. tour that wraps up in just over six weeks. But she is working in a single additional show after all, at the L.A. area’s SoFi Stadium, extending what was a five-night stand at that massive venue to six concerts. The added date is Aug. 7, two nights before her North American tour comes to an official climax at the stadium on Aug. 9. Eight additional shows for the European leg of the tour next year have also been announced, with added dates in London, Paris, Stockholm, Zurich, Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw and Vienna.

K-pop stadium concert later this year.On June 14, the Korea Management Federation (KMF), which represents at least 350 Korean entertainment agencies, announced that Poland would soon be hosting the a massive K-pop festival this September at a venue with a capacity of 50,000 people. It will be the first K-pop stadium concert held in the country.The upcoming concert, titled ‘2023 K-pop Nation x Korea Music Festival’, will be held at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw on September 23.

Di Stefano’s high-profile project, which is titled “Karski,” is being developed by New York City-based production company Phiphen Pictures, the indie founded by Molly Conners most recently behind Netflix’s “Like Father” and “It’s Bruno!,” the director said. Italy’s expanding Indiana Production, which shepherded “Amore,” is also on board.

The third part in the “Cattle Hill” series is a detective story about the little cow Clara and her friend Gavin who join forces with the world famous detective Agatha Chichester to unveil the thief of a revolutionary Nano-seed stolen from a high-tech laboratory train. Leo Barraclough International Features Editor Warsaw-based sales outlet New Europe Film Sales has signed an international sales deal for the upcoming Belgian debut “Julie Keeps Quiet” by Leonardo Van Dijl, whose short film “Stephanie,” also repped by New Europe, played in Cannes competition in 2020. Both films are set in the world of competitive youth sports: the short explored the world of gymnastics, while the feature film takes on tennis. The feature is to be shot in the second half of this year with delivery planned for mid-2024. In “Julie Keeps Quiet,” when the practices of a prominent tennis coach are investigated, attention quickly shifts to Julie, a young and promising player who is always around him. As pressure mounts for her to share her experiences, Julie chooses to keep quiet and focus on her game, leaving the investigation and the coach’s future in doubt.

Prince William laid a wreath at a monument dedicated to soldiers in Poland as part of a trip to meet Ukrainian refugees being helped in the Eastern European country. The Prince of Wales, 40, visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw on Thursday morning - echoing a royal engagement carried out by the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who did the same in 1996. William was greeted by a guard of honour and carried the assortment of flowers to the monument, spending around 10 minutes there before leaving.

Prince William is making a surprise two-day visit to Poland, starting with a military base along the border with Ukraine Wednesday to thank troops for their commitment to helping the country defend itself against Russia.  "I just wanted to come here in person to say thank you for all that you’re doing, keeping everyone safe out here and keeping an eye on what’s going on,'' the Prince of Wales told British and Polish troops gathered in Rzeszow, a city in the southwest of the country that has become a hub for shipments of military and humanitarian aid bound for Ukraine. The city is around 40 miles from the Ukrainian border and is also a transit hub for refugees.  "You’re doing a really important job out here and defending our freedoms is really important, and everyone back home thoroughly supports you," he added.

The Prince of Wales has thanked British troops based roughly an hour’s drive from the Ukrainian border for “defending our freedoms” as he kicked off a surprise trip to Poland.
