James Corden is bringing The Late Late Show back to British soil - with a whole host of celebrity friends and popular segments coming with him.The iconic Carpool Karaoke will do a bit of filming from the Freemasons Hall in London, with studio guests set to include Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish.Lizzo will join the talk show host to belt out some of her classics from the passenger seat, and the show is set to be broadcast from June 28 to July 1.READ MORE: James Corden bizarrely confesses he only washes his hair once every two monthsIt's not the first time that the Londoner has brought the American chat show to these shores, but it's the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic struck that he gets to broadcast from his home town.Corden, 43, will also immerse himself in American politics in his Take a Break segment, which will see him fill in as the assistant to President Joe Biden.Earlier this year, Corden dropped a bombshell when he announced he would be exiting the presenting chair, which he had held for the last eight years. He told ET at an event in Hollywood: "I just sort of felt like maybe we'd done enough? The Late Late Show With James Corden has announced a star-studded line-up for its upcoming week of UK-based episodes.Broadcasting from Freemasons’ Hall in London, the new batch of special episodes will air on Sky Comedy from Tuesday, June 28 to Friday, July 1.The esteemed guests appearing on the show include President Joe Biden, Vin Diesel (Fast And Furious), Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, Jamie Dornan (Belfast), John Boyega (Star Wars), David Harbour (Stranger Things), Alanis Morissette, Sam Smith and Tessa Thompson (Thor: Love and Thunder, Westworld).A description for one of the episodes reads: “James Corden immerses himself into the heart of American politics in his most prestigious ‘Take a Break’ segment yet when he fills in as the assistant to President of the United States Joe Biden, among other important duties.”While appearing as a guest on the show, Lizzo will also feature in a new addition of Carpool Karaoke.The upcoming episodes will mark Corden’s final season as the show’s host, with the presenter previously confirming that he’ll return to the UK full-time once he finishes in spring 2023 [via Variety].Corden first announced his decision to leave the chat show back in April this year.“This will be my last year hosting the show,” he said in a statement at the time. “When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that.

The Who are set to begin a two-part North American tour next week, and have appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform an orchestral version of ‘Behind Blue Eyes’.On Friday night (April 15), the band were the musical guests on the show and ran through a grand version of their 1971 track, backed by a full orchestra.The performance, which you can watch in full below, came in support of the Teen Cancer America organisation, and was recorded during the band’s annual Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London last month, which featured Yungblud, Liam Gallagher, Ed Sheeran, The Who themselves and more.Watch the Colbert performance of ‘Behind Blue Eyes’ below.The band’s forthcoming tour – dubbed ‘The Who Hits Back!’ – will begin next week (April 22) in Florida, with the first leg running until the end of May.The band will then return to the States in October for another run of dates, which take them through until November.Speaking of the tour, Roger Daltrey said: “Pete and I said we’d be back, but we didn’t think we’d have to wait for two years for the privilege.
