Livingston skipper Nicky Devlin says there’s no danger of the Lions taking struggling Hibs lightly as they travel to Easter Road today.
Hibs have lost seven of their last eight games, whilst also having lost four in a row against the Lions stretching back to last season.
But Devlin insists they’re still a top side - especially now they have Scotland striker Kevin Nisbet back fit.
He commented: “We have to look to use the fact that there might be some nerves but we know how difficult it will be because going forward against Rangers they looked very dangerous.
“They’ve got that threat back with Kevin being back up front. There are goals back in the team they maybe lacked for a period of time.
“If we allow them to create chances for him he’ll take them, that’s what he’s good at.
“So we need to be at it as much as we were at Parkhead. Defensively we conceded two but if we put in a similar performance I think we’ll have a very good chance.”
The skipper netted in their 2-1 loss away to Celtic but revealed Hoops fan brother Scott missed it because nature called.
He joked: “I think that was the perfect result for him to be honest, I scored and Celtic won!
“When we went 2-0 down he thought he’d head to the gents, and then came back out and checked his phone and saw I’d scored. So he’s probably missed his only chance to see me score at Parkhead.
“It doesn’t come around often, not for me anyway.
“When it went 2-0 he, like most people, thought that was going to be the score at half-time but we went up the park and scored straight off it.”
