Liverpool star Fabio Carvalho is confident that his team can get a result against Manchester City at the weekend following their 7-1 victory away at Rangers on Wednesday.
The Reds went into the clash with the Ibrox club following a 3-2 Premier League defeat to Arsenal last Sunday. It looked like their week was going to get even worse when Scott Arfield gave the Glaswegian side the lead.
However, Roberto Firmino got Liverpool level just seven minutes later and after the break the striker added his second to turn the tables. Darwin Nunez, Harvey Elliott and a Mohamed Salah hat-trick followed as Rangers crumbled to a devastating loss.

The victory for the Merseyside club has now given the whole club a lift according to Carvalho ahead of Sunday's visit of the champions. Speaking to Liverpool's official website, the 20-year-old former Fulham man said: "We needed that.
"Going into Sunday is a big game and we need to focus on that. The result went our way today and what a way to get the win, but our focus is on Sunday now and we can’t be dwelling on this game.
"Obviously, we know what we [have] done well and we know what we can improve on, and the result today will give us confidence for Sunday. We have big players who perform on the highest stages.
"It’s a big game so we have the big players for it. It’s a big game, a big occasion, and I’m sure if we give it our all and we work hard a good result will come our way."
