Kid Cudi is set to star in Brittany Snow’s forthcoming film directorial debut, September 17th.According to Variety, Cudi – real name Scott Mescudi – was cast by Snow (Pitch Perfect) after the pair worked together as actors on A24’s new horror film X, which is released this Friday (March 18).“I couldn’t believe that [Snow] wanted me in it,” Cudi told the outlet. “She had told me about the movie while we were on set [for X], but she never asked me to be in it.

Kid Cudi and Bape founder Nigo have joined forces on a new song titled "Want It Bad." The Pharrell-produced track is the second to be taken from Nigo's upcoming project I Know Nigo after A$AP Rocky collaboration "Arya." Nigo founded A Bathing Ape in 1993, launched Human Made in 2010, and collaborated with Uniqlo and Louis Vuitton after selling Bape to a Hong Kong conglomerate in 2011. The Japanese multi-hyphenate has always been a designer first, but he had a strong run of albums in the first decade of the new millennium, both on his own and with his Yokohama-based rap group, Teriyaki Boyz.

Kanye West has seemingly extended an olive branch to Kid Cudi.The since-deleted Instagram post seen by Complex, which was a screenshot of a message from Cudi in which he asked for help to “keep my mind sane” amid the tension over SNL host Pete Davidson, Ye showed support by writing “Love you family” above.
