Loose Women star Linda Robson has voiced her outrage at Rebekah Vardy’s chipolata comment about Peter Andre that resurfaced in court as part of her libel trial against Coleen Rooney. On Friday’s episode of the ITV show, the 64 year old said the footballer’s wife “should be ashamed of herself” after her remarks about the singer resurfaced during the trial. Rebekah, 40, was accused by Coleen, 36, of leaking fake stories in October 2019 in an Instagram post which has since been infamously hailed Wagatha Christie.
Denying the allegations, Rebekah is suing Coleen for libel. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter. You can sign up at the top of the page.
While being questioned by Coleen’s barrister this week, Rebekah, was asked about comments she made to News of the World in 2004 about Peter as she spoke about "having had sex” with the star. The article said he was hung like a "miniature chipolata" and "made no attempt to satisfy me". Speaking about the comments on Loose Women, Linda spoke with her fellow panellists about feeling sorry for Peter and said: “Oh god bless him. It's terrible, absolutely terrible.
"I feel for his wife and for his kids and that because it's just embarrassing, that's a terrible thing to say. If it was the other way round and someone was to say a remark like that about part of our body, it'd be exactly the same. "Disgusting.
