Queen Elizabeth II’s reign may have come to an end when she died on 8 September after 70 years on the throne, but she is a figure who will be remembered for many years to come. Her legacy will go down in history as the United Kingdom’s longest reigning monarch and to commemorate that there are many ways that those not just in the country, but around the world will make sure she is remembered.These include many weird and wonderful things named after the late monarch including London train lines, a cluster of islands in Canada and even pigeons.

Andrew, the Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will now look after the Queen’s beloved corgis following her death.

During a surprise walk about on Saturday, Prince William, confirmed the news to a royal watcher who asked about the status of the monarch’s dogs.  “I saw them the other day, that got me quite sad," he told the mourner after she asked about the status of the queen’s dogs. «They are going to be looked after fine.» The 40-year-old royal added, «They are two very friendly corgis, so they've got a good home.

Queen Elizabeth’s coffin lying in state in London on Friday.The famed soccer player, 47, was seen getting on the line to Westminster Hall to view the coffin, telling BBC he waited just over 12 hours.Once he got inside, Beckham was very emotional and seen wiping away tears.“We all want to be here together and experience and celebrate the amazing life of our queen. I think that something like this today here together is meant to be shared,” Beckham told reporters outside the Hall.Beckham said he has been sharing food with the mourners around him while on the line.

Many shops and businesses across Falkirk will be closed on Monday, September 19 for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
