Liam Gallagher has announced a new documentary based around his huge Knebworth shows this summer.Knebworth 22 is a feature-length film documenting the Oasis singer’s return to Knebworth Park, 26 years after his band’s iconic gigs at the Hertfordshire venue.The film will come to select UK cinemas for a limited time from November 17, with a full streaming release on Paramount+ later this year.“I’m still in shock that I got to play Knebworth 2 nights, 26 years after I played it with Oasis,” Gallagher said in a statement. “I’m still trying to get my head around it.“To have played to multiple generations at the same venue so many years apart was beyond Biblical.

Paul Weller has curated a special charity gig in London celebrating the 90th birthday of iconic artist Peter Blake.Blake, most famous for designing the iconic cover art to The Beatles‘ 1967 album ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, celebrated his landmark birthday this June, and will be honoured at a December event.Curated by Weller, the show will feature Noel Gallagher, Madness, The Who‘s Roger Daltrey, Baxter Dury and Chrissie Hynde alongside Weller himself.

Let There Be Drums!, a documentary set to premiere later this month.The film is directed by Justin Kreutzmann — the son of The Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann — and according to its synopsis, will focus on “the art of drumming [and] the musicians who’ve mastered it”. In addition Kreutzmann, Let There Be Drums! will feature interviews with a swathe of the world’s best-known drummers, including one of Taylor Hawkins’ final-ever interviews before his passing in March.Elsewhere, the documentary will feature the likes of The Beatles’ Ringo Starr, Stewart Copeland of The Police, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Tré Cool of Green Day, among many others.

Taylor Hawkins paid tribute to his craft in his final on-camera interview. Hawkins appears posthumously in the newly released trailer for the upcoming music doc. The Foo Fighters drummer died on March 25, 2022 at the age of 50. In the film's trailer, Hawkins beautifully recalls the first time he ever played the drums. «The second I sat on the drums, it was like a bolt of lightning went through my body,» he says in the film.

The original members of blink-182 – Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker – will reunite for the first time in 10 years for a worldwide tour that will run from March 2023 through February 2024.

Blink-182 have reunited with Tom DeLonge for a huge world tour, and are due to release a new single this week.The song ‘Edging’ is set to arrive on Friday (October 14), and it marked the first time in a decade that DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker had been in a studio together (pre-save/pre-add it here).A new full-length studio album is also in the works, details of which are yet to be revealed.Additionally, the trio have announced their biggest tour to date, with concerts confirmed in the UK, Europe, North America Australia and New Zealand as well as their first-ever shows in Latin America.The mammoth stint will kick off next March and conclude in February 2024. For the UK leg, Blink-182 will visit Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Manchester in September and October 2023.Tickets go on sale at 10am local time next Monday (October 17).

The Who have surprised fans in Long Island with a song that’s only been played a handful of times by the band in the last 40 years.During the gig, which took place on October 7, Roger Daltrey and co played ‘Young Man’s Blues’ as an extra encore.The band haven’t played the song since a one-off in 2014, and it’s only been played six times in the last 40 years of the band’s touring history (via Rolling Stone).The song, which was written by jazz pianist Mose Allison in 1957, added a R&B version of the song into their live set in 1964. It later appeared on the band’s ‘Live At Leeds’.

In between, he’ll welcome a starry lineup of jazz A-listers and surprise guests — some of whom will be a surprise to him, too.
