Lenny Henry has slammed the BBC in an epic rant about the lack of diversity in Doctor Who, in saying bosses would rather have "a dog" play the lead role "than a black person".
T he actor, 61, makes a cameo appearance in the hit sci-fi series when it returns to TV on New Year's Day. He has now opened up about part in a scathing rant aimed at Beeb bosses - accusing them of failing to include actors of colour in the huge hit show.
