Not too long ago, it was speculated that LeBron James would not sign an extension with the Los Angeles Lakers last month. That he might be on his way out of L.A.
and headed back home to Cleveland for the third time. A few weeks after James signed his two-year extension with the Lakers with a player option after one year the Cleveland Cavaliers made a very unexpected move and acquired three-time all-star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz. Donovan Mitchell has been rumored to be going to the New York Knicks via the trade for years now and it now seems yet again that the Knicks dropped the ball.
The Cavaliers now have a widely talented starting lineup with Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Isaac Okoro, and now Donovan Mitchell. This new trade has had LeBron James wishing he did not sign that extension as the Lakers have had a lot of issues and have missed the playoffs more than once since James came to town. Speaking of LeBron James shortly after he saw the news of the trade he retweeted a post about how tough the Cavaliers look with Mitchell and also said “SO TOUGH!!!!! Super Dope” as seen linked here. During the All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, last season James said the door was not closed on him returning to The Land before he calls it quits.
Garland quickly made his own statement about the possible return saying that the young Cavs want to make their own legacy saying that Cleveland has been reborn. It almost seemed as if Garland was a little weary of a LeBron return as he believes that he and his team can get things done without LeBron. It wouldn’t be a surprise if at some point before he retires LeBron runs it back for at least one more year with the Cavaliers or maybe even for his final year.

James Cameron is a confident filmmaker. You can see that in his actual filmmaking style and choices.
Scott Huver It’s been over 25 years since actor and activist James Cromwell played one of his most indelible roles, the kindly farmer Arthur Hoggett in ”Babe,” but he’s been both a friend of animals and a champion of their rights for even longer. During Friday evening’s 23rd annual gala for Mercy for Animals – dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and advocating for compassionate food choices – Cromwell received the organization’s Hope Award for his steadfast commitment to furry and feathered causes, a dedication that’s seen him frequently ending up in handcuffs as a result of his passionate protests. He was feted along with additional honorees: author and content creator Joanne L. Molinaro, a.k.a. the Korean Vegan, and influential vegan chef Babette Davis.
This sounds verrry complicated!
A new wrinkle. Anne Heche‘s ex-boyfriend James Tupper claimed that the late actress left him her estate after she died without a will.
“Our league definitely got this wrong,” wrote LeBron James today just hours after NBA Commissioner Adam Silver went before the media to try and contain the fallout over what many consider mild sanctions on Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver for sexist, racist and abusive behavior toward subordinates. James, like many former players and pundits, felt that “there is no place for misogyny, sexism, and racism in any work place. Don’t matter if you own the team or play for the team.”
LeBron James’ son Bronny following his dad’s footsteps into basketball “just happened”. The Los Angeles Lakers star’s childhood sweetheart wife Savannah, 36, denied they are pushy parents and said their children being high achievers was “automatic” due to their dad’s genes. They spoke during a photoshoot for Vanity Fair, which has published a photo portfolio of LeBron, 37, his wife and their three children, sons Bronny, 17, Bryce, 15, and seven-year-old Zhuri.
What a night! The 2022 Emmy Awards did not disappoint in the fashion department. While nearly everyone came to slay, a select few had Us crying (stylish) tears of joy.
Kenan Thompson hosted this year's Emmy Awards, and managed to sneak in a little reunion with his old pal, Kel Mitchell.Midway through Monday's star-studded show at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, Thompson wandered over to the bar for one of the ceremony's comedic interludes, and struck up a conversation with the night's «honorary bartender,» Kumail Nanjiani. An overwhelmed Nanjiani — who had been tasked with serving drinks as a regular bartender and was totally unprepared — struggled to make drinks for people, before Thompson decided to order for a man slumped over on the bar, apparently passed out.«Excuse me, sir, can we get you a drink or something?» Thompson asked, as Mitchell sat up and smiled bright.«You know what, can I get a Good Burger?» he asked, as an exuberant Thompson hugged him and the pair jumped around excitedly.«Make that two Good Burgers!» Thompson yelled.
Lily James looks gorgeous on the Emmys red carpet!
LeBron James is and always will be an icon in Cleveland as he is the best player in Cavaliers history and the man who brought the City its first pro-sports championship in over 50 years and the Cavs’ first title. LeBron was drafted by his hometown Cavaliers back in 3003 and since then he has done some fantastic things as a Cavalier. Winning two MVP awards during his time in Cleveland as well as taking an undermanned Cavaliers team to his first NBA Finals in 2007 and 4 consecutive Finals appearances and one win between 2015 through 2018.The most notable of James’ achievements as a Cavalier was in 2016 when he led a Cavaliers team that was down three games to one against a loaded Golden State Warriors team to three straight wins to take the series.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were by far the most surprising team in the NBA last season notching 44 wins and their first winning season without LeBron James since he left for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Cavaliers were on the right track in their rebuild and were already playoff contenders last season.
John Boyega would be '"very surprised" to see a black James Bond. The 30-year-old actor was asked if he would ever consider taking on the role of the 007 spy in the legendary movie franchise - which has so far only been played by white men such as the late Sir Sean Connery and Sir Roger Moore as well as Daniel Craig throughout its 60-year history - but "doesn't believe" that producers will ever cast a black man in the part. Speaking on the 'Happy Sad Confused' podcast, he told host Josh Horowitz: "I’m sorry but I’m black – I don’t know how.
An honor. Many celebs took to social media to talk about Serena Williams’ last game. The tennis champion likely played her final match at the US Open in Flushing, New York on September 2, 2022, after she lost to Ajla Tomljanović.
Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and LeBron James are among the stars to pay tribute to Serena Williams after she lost what could be her final match at the US Open. LeBron James has the ultimate family plan: to play in the NBA with both of his sons, LeBron James Jr. -- known as Bronny — and Bryce Maximus. Whether that plan comes to fruition depends on several factors, but the father of three isn't letting that quell his hopes. The 37-year-old was joined by his sons on the cover of the October issue of , where the trio recreated LeBron's first cover. The pro player became the first high school underclassman to appear on the cover in2002 when he was a junior at St.
Earlier this week The Cleveland Cavaliers had officially pulled themselves out of the running for Utah Jazz star and three-time all-star Donovan Mitchell. It is not that the Cavaliers don’t have the right pieces to make a trade happen, it is that the Cavaliers refuse to give up any of the three players, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen. The Cavaliers refuse to give up any core players for what seems like any player. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ plan to keep their young core together is for good reason.
