'Leave Danica alone' say viewers as Leicester's Love Island star gets gently mocked

Love Island is set to end in a matter of days, with an end date for this series of the show now confirmed.This means that the current Islanders, including Gemma Owen, Luca Bish, Tasha Ghouri, Andrew Le Page, Indiyah Polack, and Dami Hope, don't have long left together in the villa - and the prize is in their sights. Previously, the show's host Laura Whitemore had hinted the ITV2 series would end after eight weeks, and a source close to the show has told The Sun that Love Island is on track for an eight-week run and is set to end on Monday, August 1.

In a teaser released by ITV for tonight's episode, 21 year old Danica makes her move, telling 27 year old Davide that she wants "to get to know" him.

Wednesday’s episode of Love Island turned up the drama after it welcomed not one, but two, new bombshells to the Majorcan villa. While Tonia Buxton’s daughter Antigoni made her entrance and selected Dami Hope, Davide Sanclimenti and Jay Younger to go on a date with, she wasn’t the only new face on the hit ITV2 show. In fact, as the episode came to a close, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was greeted with a text that read: “Girls, it’s time to get glam as tonight you’ll be welcoming a new boy into the Villa.” With all eyes on the villa’s doors, newbie Charlie Radnedge became the latest bombshell to make his Love Island debut.
