Lauren Harries has shared an update with fans after undergoing emergency brain surgery. Lauren, 45, who appeared on 2013’s Celebrity Big Brother, had an ’emergency’ operation in April. Earlier this month, Lauren shared graphic pictures of her arms and hands covered in bruises and has now told fans she’s still in hospital and that she loves them.
She wrote in a message shared on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday: ‘Hello my stars. Well I’m still in hospital. ‘Nearly dying makes you appreciate every moment.
So enjoy the sunshine and know that I love you. Light, love and peace. ’ Her post came just a day after Lauren’s mum Katy revealed her daughter had been having blackouts and suffering from a ‘drooping face’.
Katy called the experience ‘incredibly scary’ for her daughter and asked for advice. That same day, a photo of Lauren lying in her hospital bed was shared on Instagram. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, doting mum Katy wrote: ‘Please help: Lauren has had a number of blackouts after which the right side of her face droops.
‘This is incredibly scary for Lauren and us. She also has a consistent headache. Drs haven’t been able to explain what is causing these.
’She added: ‘Have you or someone you know been through this? Any ideas or help you could give will be so helpful. ‘@NHSuk have saved Lauren but they can’t find any answers for this and it is so scary when it happens, it happened again yesterday. Please help find out what’s causing these!’Lauren underwent emergency surgery last month and both she and her mum have been updating fans on her condition via social media since.
