Lauren Goodger shared a cryptic message about being 'stabbed in the back' and not trusting 'fake friends' on Friday. The former TOWIE star, 35, took to her Instagram Story to post two snaps of quotes about 'jealousy' and being careful who you let in your circle. It comes after Lauren tragically lost her newborn baby, Lorena, due to complications during her birth last month.
She was allegedly assaulted on the day of her baby's funeral. Her boyfriend Charles Drury, 25, was later arrested and bailed following the incident. She went through a 'horrendous whirlwind' dealing with the death of both Lorena and her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean - who lost his life when his car plunged 70ft off a cliff in Turkey last month.
One of the quotes Lauren shared on Friday read: 'Everyone isn't your friend. Just because they hang out around you and laugh with you doesn't mean they're there for you. 'Just because they say they got your back doesn't mean they won't stab you in it.
People pretend well. Jealousy sometimes doesn't live far. So know your circle.
'At the end of the day real situations expose fake people, so pay attention. 'The background to the quote featured an image of a snake coming out of a bloodied mouth. The shorter second quote she shared read: 'Life is full of fake people! Trust no one.
Trust yourself. ' It comes after Lauren took to Instagram on Thursday to share an update on her grief, after tragically losing her newborn daughter Lorena back in July due to birth complications. Throwing out the floral arrangements from the funeral, the former TOWIE star shared that she's taking the process 'one step at a time'.
