Love Island's Shaughna Phillips has announced that she is expecting her first child, and she's resorted to clever ways to keep it a secret until she revealed the news.The 28 year old, who found fame on the winter season of Love Island in 2020, is expecting her baby in March 2023, and she shared a sweet video compilation to Instagram to announce her joy. She hasn't remained behind closed doors before her revelation, though, having been seen in public as recently as last week, when she attended the National Television Awards in a lacy jumpsuit. In what was perhaps a hint at her pregnancy, she posted a snap to Instagram of her posing on the red carpet with a hand placed on her belly, although it wasn't discernible that she had a bump.

‘Love Island’ Taps Maya Jama as New U.K. Host

K.J. Yossman “Love Island” has found its new host in broadcaster Maya Jama. Jama, who has presented “Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star” and used to anchor a show for BBC Radio 1, will take over “Love Island” hosting duties early next year when the series returns for its winter edition, set in South Africa. It will be the ninth series of the show. Previous host Laura Whitmore stepped down earlier this year to pursue other projects. Fans had criticized Whitmore for her rare appearances on the reality dating show, although she also hosted spin-off “Love Island: Aftersun.”
