It’s been an emotional week for the royal family, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last Thursday. And it seems that as the Queen’s coffin arrived at Westminster Hall yesterday afternoon, it all got a bit much for Lady Gabriella Windsor, who appeared to faint shortly after Her Majesty’s arrival. There appeared to be a rather small commotion where members of the royal family stood, watching the coffin be brought inside. Lady Gabriella's husband, Thomas Kingston , could be seen aiding someone, as her mother, Princess Michael of Kent appeared to look towards her daughter with some concern, as did her brother and sister-in-law Lord Frederick Windsor and Sophie Winkleman.
Following her apparent collapse Lady Gabriella was not seen again during the event, although it appears she recovered relatively quickly and likely did not require medical attention. While she was absent from the photo showing all the members of the royal family, her husband, her mother and brother and sister-in-law remained at the service. Despite Lady Gabriella’s fainting episode, the service continued without further problem, as members of the royal family, and other state figures, gathered to pay their respects to the late Queen.
