Police officials have confirmed that Tiger Woods will not be charged after his car crash on Tuesday (February 23).
During a virtual press conference on Wednesday (February 24), L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said that the 45-year-old pro golfer will not face any criminal charges, calling the incident “purely an accident.”
“We don’t contemplate any charges whatsoever,” Sheriff Villanueva said, via People. “This remains an accident. An accident is not a crime. They do happen, unfortunately.”
