Senior members of the royal family have gathered today to mourn the day of Britain's longest-ever reigning monarch.

Following the announcement of the Queen's death on September 8, the King spoke to members of the House of Lords and House of Commons. He said: "We gather today in remembrance of the remarkable span of The Queen’s dedicated service to her nations and peoples.
