The sweet gesture a nine-year-old boy killed in a lightning strike while playing football made to police officers has come to light.
Jordan Banks was seriously injured in the incident that happened on Tuesday (May 11) while he was playing on a football field in Blackpool during a heavy storm.
The kind-hearted schoolboy was rushed to hospital with 'serious injuries', but sadly died a short time later.
