Kevin Feige Says Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage & Other Netflix Characters Could “Perhaps Someday” Return In The MCU

At first glance, we can all pretty much guess the trajectory of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” The six-episode series picks up after the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) deciding whether or not he’s ready to step into the role of Captain America.

We are mere days away from the premiere of Marvel Studios’ second series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” And just as it was with “WandaVision” a few months ago, people are already asking Kevin Feige if there will be a second season of ‘Falcon’… before the first episode even debuts. And much like he did with the previous Disney+ series from earlier this year, the Marvel Studios President isn’t confirming nor denying that a Season 2 is in the works.

With the intense fever spurred by Disney+/Marvel’s WandaVision and the anticipation of Friday’s debut of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel Studios President and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige was asked again today at the press conference for the new series whether a season 2 is already in the works.

The audition process for a Marvel Studios film has been talked about for years now. Most of the time, as was the case with Tom Holland, there’s a big shroud of mystery surrounding what roles are being auditioned for and what film it might be.

When news broke that Marvel Studios had begun the development of “Deadpool 3” with Ryan Reynolds, fans were elated. And then came Kevin Feige himself confirming that the film would indeed be rated R, a first for a Marvel Studios-produced feature.
