When something like this happens, you have to make changes and focus on your health. I’m super proud of her because she hasn’t had a cigarette in seven days. She hasn’t had an alcoholic drink either.
If you knew my mum, you’d know that is a huge achievement. I’ve always said it’s not a matter of if my mum has a heart attack, it’s a matter of when. When I found out she was in hospital, I actually felt very calm.
