One of Keanu Reeves' most popular and well known roles is playing Thomas Anderson, more commonly known as Neo in "The Matrix" film franchise.The science fiction movies are about a futuristic world (the Matrix) that the human race lives in and believes to be reality, when they are actually trapped in a world run by artificial intelligence. The first movie, "The Matrix" came out in 1999 and starred Carrie-Anne Moss, Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving who played the roles of Trinity, Morpheus and Agent Smith.The second movie, "The Matrix Reloaded" came out in 2003, followed by "The Matrix Revolutions" the same year.  In 2021, Reeves came back to reprise his role of Neo in "The Matrix Resurrections." Moss also came back to play Trinity, along with some other returning characters, but Fishburne did not return as Morpheus.

We’ve all come to love and accept Keanu Reeves as a killing machine on the big screen, but his action prowess does not end with the “John Wick” franchise. This past week, Reeves also stopped by Comic-Con to discuss his ambitions for “BRZRKR,” the popular comic book series he co-authored that he is prepping as both a Netflix film and anime series.

Actor Keanu Reeves is experiencing a big career renaissance, the Reevolution if you like. It’s mostly thanks to the popularity of his “John Wick” franchise, focusing on a skilled and feared assassin that is begrudgingly pulled back into the fray.

“John Wick: Chapter 4” won’t be in theaters until next spring, but the first footage was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.While the movie didn’t have an official presence at Comic-Con, there was a surprise appearance by Keanu Reeves on Collider’s Directors on Directing panel, where he and director Chad Stahelski debuted a new trailer.The trailer opens with John Wick (Reeves) in the snow. He’s talking to Hiroyuki Sanada (who fans of the franchise will know was originally pegged as the villain for the third film; here he seems much more serene), who says, “Have you given any thought to where this ends?” (His dialogue serves as the teaser trailer’s narration.) He goes on: “The Table will never stop.” Wick, at the end of the third film, was on the outs of the sinister High Table, even after paying a debt of part of a finger.

In what didn’t come as a shocker today at San Diego Comic-Con: Keanu Reeves crashed Collider’s Directors on Directing panel where his John Wick: Chapter 4 Chad Stahelski director was a panelist.

Lionsgate on Thursday revealed the first public look at John Wick: Chapter 4, the latest in hitman franchise that stars Keanu Reeves. Earlier this year, the studio revealed that the pic will hit theaters on March 24, 2023, and showed off a still-unreleased trailer in April at CinemaCon.
