Katie Price has reportedly started the process of receiving IVF treatment as she plans having a baby with her fiancé Carl Woods, 33.The couple, who have long spoken about their desire to have a baby together, could spend thousands on the expensive medical treatment as they are said to be gearing up to begin their first round. Katie, 43, already has five children from three different fathers and Carl spoke last year about his fears he wouldn't be able to have children of his own following years of using steroids. What's more, the costs could prove difficult for the couple as Katie is still working through paying off her multitude of debts after being declared bankrupt.
Despite that, the star is said to be self-funding her IVF treatment. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter . A source told The Sun: "Katie is desperate to have a baby with Carl and will spend whatever it takes.
"She knows it won't be easy and that treatment can have a lot of side effects but it will be worth it if she and Carl get what they want." OK! has contacted a representative for Katie for comment. It comes as the couple were spotted visiting a London fertility clinic back in January. Katie and Carl were all smiles as they held hands walking through the city on their way to an appointment.
Speaking on Steph's Packed Lunch last year, Carl opened up on his use of steroids and his lingering worry he will struggle to conceive with Katie. "I’ve got a history of using steroids when I was younger," he told the presenter at the time. "It’s always been in the back of my mind what potential damage I may or may not have done when I was taking them," the Love Island star added.
