They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and TV icon Katie Price believes this couldn't be more true in the case of her 17-year-old son Junior, whom she says is a "mini" version of dad Peter Andre. Speaking to OK! ahead of the premiere of the brand new series of Mucky Mansions, the former glamour model, 44 – who is also mum to Harvey, 20, Princess, 15, Junior, 17, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight - gushes over Junior's musical success so far. "His dad is a singer," she talks of Mysterious Girl performer ex-husband Peter, 50.
"So he’s [Junior] following in his footsteps. Junior is a mini-Pete, and Princess is a mini-me. But of course they have their own identities." Junior’s singing career is going from strength to strength after his first single, Slide, hit the charts last year.
"He’s so different to the rest of the kids. He lives and breathes his studio," Katie adds. "He doesn’t want to do photoshoots with us any more – he wants to be known as his own person.
"He’s at that age where he’s too cool for school. He’s so driven. He’s so different to me.
Junior has really got his head screwed on." She adds of her former flame - to whom she was married 2005 to 2009: "He’s got Pete’s personality – calm and collected." As ex-I'm A Celebrity star Katie explains, she believes daughter Princess - whom she also shares with Peter - is to her what Junior is to his father. The mother and daughter duo bear a striking resemblance to each other as they pose for photographs during our exclusive shoot, so it’s no surprise Princess is now following in her mum’s footsteps by embarking on her own modelling career. "I can absolutely see Princess being a successful model – she’s stunning," Katie tells us, bursting with pride.
