Princess Charlotte and her older brother Prince George attended the touching memorial for Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday – and the young Princess followed in her mum Kate Middleton's stylish footsteps. Not only were the siblings there to remember their great grandfather but it was also their first big induction into royal life, which left Kate and William "proud".

Kate Middleton was seen reassuring Princess Charlotte that she can "smile" in a sweet moment as they arrived at Prince Philip’s memorial service.The mother and daughter arrived hand in hand at the service honouring the late Duke of Edinburgh on Tuesday morning alongside Prince William and Prince George. However, six year old Charlotte looked a little nervous as she arrived with her family at Westminster Abbey, leading to Kate leaning over to her daughter to say something which seemed to cause her to look more cheerful.

William went for a traditional look in a black tuxedo. Amid ongoing protests surrounding the royals' visit and outspoken coalitions seeking to make Jamaica a republic and to remove the queen as the head of state, William gave a speech at the dinner, condemning Britain's role in slavery in Jamaica. «I strongly agree with my father, The Prince of Wales, who said in Barbados last year that the appalling atrocity of slavery forever stains our history,» William said of his father, Prince Charles.

The Duchess wore her hair in a stylish updo and kept her make-up simple, as part of a look that was very different to the trouser suit she wore to meet Jamaica’s prime minister elsewhere on the couple’s trip.

On the fourth day of William, 39, and Kate’s tour of the Caribbean, as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to the Trench Town neighborhood of Kingston, the birthplace of reggae music. While at Marley’s home – which has been converted into a museum in honor of the musician and political activist – Kate, 40, and William played the drums along with some local musicians. As Bob Marley once sang, “Who Feels it, knows it,” and judging by the smiles on Kate and William’s faces, they were feeling the joy of the music.
