Kate Middleton put on a cheerful display on Wednesday as she was spotted stroking the family dog Orla, while cheering on her husband Prince William as he made a welcome return to the polo field. The mum of three appeared to be relaxed as she was seen giving Orla, their black cocker-spaniel, a stroke on the head as she enjoyed a glass of Pimms in the sunshine.Taking part in the Out-Sourcing Inc.
Royal Charity Polo Cup 2022, held at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor, the Duke of Cambridge was just one of several participants hoping to raise vital funds for a number of charities close to his heart. The event is expected to raise more than £1 million for charities supported by the couple, which include London’s Air Ambulance, Mountain Rescue England and Wales, the homeless organisation The Passage and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, to name just a few.
Before the players took to the field, William and his wife Kate spent time chatting to guests as they prepared for William’s debut in the round robin event, which saw him take on BP Polo and Monterosso Vikings as part of the US Polo Assn team. Cheering William on from the sidelines, Kate looked stunning in a chic white a-line dress, complete with statement piping detail from designer Emilia Wickstead.
William meanwhile, arrived at the event in a casual ensemble that consisted of white trousers and a powder blue button down shirt. In several images taken at the event, the Duchess of Cambridge could be seen smiling and animatedly chatting with guests, before settling down to watch the tournament as the match got underway.
William also appeared to be in high spirits as he took to the field later in the afternoon in the hopes of sealing a victory for his team. The latest charity
